Bryson being his typical self. Whimsical to the extreme and always interesting. The book tells the story of him growing up in an all american town. the fun, the scrapes, and the fact that nobody lives like that anymore.
Bryson is a good read, in real life he speaks like a monotonistic bore, but when that style is writrten down it does become incredibly entertaining.
An easy read without draining your lifes rescources too much. It's not going to keep you awake at night but it's good enough for the bus.
